Installing Little Rock Solar Panels

Little Rock was the home of some historical events- one of the most memorable being the place where the Little Rock Nine attended the Little Rock Central High School, the first desegregated school in the state. And now it has the opportunity to make history once again by embracing clean, green, renewable solar power with Little Rock solar panels.

Interest in solar panels is growing worldwide, from Australia, to Egypt, to the U.S.A. Solar energy is quickly becoming a main source of electricity, and there’s no better time to join the movement. Your Little Rock solar panels will save you money, and will protect you from rising utility rates in the future. And with Sunpro Solar’s 25 year warranties and guarantees, plus the 26% Federal Solar Tax Credit, it’s easier than ever.

  • Increased Home Value

26% Federal Solar Tax Credit

If you’d like to get Little Rock solar panels for the best deal possible, this is the one for you. The federal government is well aware of just how important renewable solar energy is going to be in the future. Because of this they decided to offer this incentive to people looking to make the switch to solar power.Little Rock Arkansas Solar Panel Home

This incentive allows people to get 26% of the total cost of their solar panels, including installation, back in tax credits. That means that if your solar panels cost you a total of $10,000, that means you’d get $2,600 back in tax credits. That would reduce the total cost of your solar panels down to $7,400. And if you don’t use all your federal tax credits the first year, the remainder just rolls right on over to the next.

Be sure to move quickly, though. In 2021, the tax credit is reduced to 22%, and in 2022, it’s unavailable for residential solar panels altogether. So if you’d like to take advantage of this incentive, act now!

Net Metering for Little Rock Solar Panels

Little Rock solar panels will save you money. With net metering, however, you could be saving even more than that. Net metering works like this: when your solar panels produce electricity, it will be used by your house. However, if your house doesn’t need all the electricity, the extra power will be sent to your utility grid. Your account will then be credited for the electricity you send. So your utility bill is reduced even further!

Currently, the state of Arkansas requires utility companies to offer net metering. Listed below are the general requirements from electric utility companies in the Little Rock area. Sunpro Solar will handle each and every step for you, so you won’t have to. The requirements are simply listed for your information.

Increasing Your Home Value with your Little Rock Solar Panels

As if you needed another reason to go green, solar panels have one more benefit for you- one that you might not have been aware of. In addition to saving you money every month, they also increase the value of your home! For every $1 you save in electric bills, the value of your home goes up $20. So if you saved $150 a month after solar panels, the value of your home would increase $3,000. That added value will be a big benefit if you ever decide you need to move, and is just one more reason to invest in energy efficient solar panels.
